Aim\ To study the theory and method of feature selection in pattern recognition systems. Methods\ Using the correlation analysis, highly effective feature selection is achieved. Results\ Good results are received in the feature selection in four kinds of vehicle audio signals. Conclusion\ This method shows the obvious virtues of little operation quantity and good recognition effect.
