RESULTSIn the present study the average value of the creatinine-weight coefficient was 23.3, trochanteric fat averaged 18~ 2 mm, and the mean estimated percentage fat was 21.5%. These values were considered within expectancy for adult males averaging 38.3 years in age, 176.4 cm in height and 76.6 kg. in weight. The separate cumulative frequency distributions for the creatinine-weight coefficient and fat are given in table I, since such data are largely lacking in the literature.
