The complexes [Tc (CNR) 6] PF6 (where R= zen-butyl, methyl, cyclohexyl, and phenyl) have been prepared by reduction of the pertechnetate ion with aqueous Na2S204 in thepresence of the isocyanide ligands. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, optical, infrared, and NMR spectroscopy, conductance, cyclicvoltammetry, and field desorption mass spectrometry.
