– An electron microscopic study of 9 biopsies of focal epithelial hyperplasia of the oral mucosa in South-west Greenlanders showed the presence of intranuclear papova virus-like particles with a diameter of 400–600 A. The cells containing the particles showed clumping and margination of the chromatin, disintegration of the nuclear membrane, and condensation of tonofilaments.
