Shell very small, broadly ovate, imperforate, solid, shining, translucent, darkish brown. Spire moderately produced, with straight sides meeting at an angle of about 50; apex acute. Whorls 6, almost flat above, but well rounded at the periphery and very rapidly increasing; the apical 1½ microscopically punctate, later whorls sculptured with very faint, straight, slightly irregular strim or growth-lines, only visible under a strong lens, crossed by much finer, extremely close, microscopic, spiral stri~ e; suture flat, broadly and very strongly margined below. Aperture subovate, somewhat flattened at the base; peristome simple, acute; outer lip straight in profile and hardly receding; columella white, slightly concave, margin narrowly adnate; callus white and thin.
