In the field of cancer research, there is not only a flood of original articles, but also an abundance of reviews and books on a variety of topics, including chemotherapy. Several reviews have appeared in the past few years dealing with drugs of the podophyllum type, particularly etoposide [1]. So why publish yet another one?
