红鹿是我国的重点保护动物，也具有十分重要的经济价值。我国一直是鹿科动物进化的中心之一，拥有非常丰富的红鹿资源，在我国分布的8种红鹿中，西伯利亚马鹿、准噶尔马鹿和叶尔羌马鹿分布在新疆。沿着近年来人口的迅速增长和环境污染，新疆红鹿栖息地迅速增加，栖息地质量不断下降，严重影响了红鹿的生存、种群结构、营养状况乃至遗传组成等，并在生理上引起了一系列的适应组合，本文根据文献资料，对新疆红鹿亚种的研究现状进行了分析。同时对今后的研究方向进行了分析，为新疆红鹿亚种的有效保护提供科学依据。
Red deer is protected animal in China and also has very important economic value.China has been one of the centers of cervid evolution and has very rich red deer resources,among the eight red deer species distributed in China,C.e.sibiricus,C.e.songaricus and C.e.yarkandensis distributed in Xinjiang.In recent years,along with the rapid increasing of human population and environmental pollution,the habitat of the Xinjiang red deer has been increased rapidly,the habitat quality unceasingly has been dropped,which seriously has affected the red deer survival,population structure,nutrition condition and even the heredity composition and so on,and has caused a series of adaption combination on physiology,behavior and heredity aspects.In this paper the current research status of red deer sub species in Xinjiang is analyzed according to the literature materials. At the same time the future research is analyzed.This will provide scientific basis for effective protection of the red deer sub species in Xinjiang.
