OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the combined use of strain elastography (SE) and superb microvascular imaging (SMI) with grayscale ultrasound (US) according to the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) classification for differentiating benign from malignant breast masses.METHODS: In total, 166 patients with 177 breast masses categorized as BI-RADS 3-5 were included in the study between April 2016 to September 2017. US, SMI and SE were performed to evaluate each mass.
