In yeast cells grown in the presence of Borrelidin the threonyl-tRNA-synthetase is inhibited and a specific derepression of the aspartokinase takes place. These results are compatible with the assumption that in yeast cells the threonyl-tRNA-synthetase is involved in the repression of the formation of the threonine biosynthetic enzyme.
