Abstract Information about the findings at the Nucleocytoplasmic Transport Meeting at Jekyll Island, Georgia, regarding architecture of the nuclear pore complex (NPC), structural analysis of receptors, regulation of nuclear transport, models for translocation, and emerging roles for the NPC, structural analysis of receptors, regulation of nuclear transport, models for translocation, and emerging roles for the NPC and lamina in gene expression are presented.
