The technology of raising rice seedling padded with bast fiber film for machine-transplanting was preliminarily explored in this study.The results showed that the growth and development of rice roots were promoted and the rice yield increased significantly.This study could provide a simple and efficient way to solve the scattered-seedlings problem which exists widely in the process of transplanting rice seedlings with machine.
