Following two studies of the stability of the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory, one by Clapp produced high stability even though subjects received their second administration 3½ yr. after the first. A study of 64 New Zealand students (17- and 18-yr.-olds) showed high stability over 7 mo. The present study showed similar results for 45 British schoolchildren over 3 years during which time maturity must surely have played a part.
