在徐树深、夏正勋等人的工作中，给出了计算真空容器充气时间的一般公式。然而，对他们所推导的公式进行批判性的审视，并从扼流的角度出发，认为他们所推导的公式仅适用于亚音速充气。给出了区分亚音速充气与音速充气的临界压力公式，导出了亚音速充气和音速充气的充气时间计算公式，并给出了较简单的计算公式。
As shown in the earlier works by Xu Shushen and Xia Zhengxun, the general formulae to calculate the air inflating time for vacuum containers have been given. However, taking a critical view of the formulae they derived and in view of the choked flow, it is supposed that the formulae they derived are just adaptable to subsonic air inflation. A formula of critical pressure is thus given so as to distinguish the subsonic air inflation from sonic one, and the formulae are derived to calculate the air inflating time for both subsonic and sonic inflation, and the simpler formulae are also given.
