Abstract (c) A biopsy from the lower abdomen showed a roughly normal epidermis but scattered lymphocyte infiltrations in superficial dermis (Hematoxylin and eosin,× 20). Dear Editor, Gravitational erythema (GE) is a rare, benign condition that is characterized by position-dependent blotchy red eruptions, of which most cases reported by far were adolescent patients.
