BACKGROUNDThe Simcyp population‐based Simulator is a widely used platform for predictive simulation of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PKPD) parameters and profiles, and drug‐drug interaction (DDI) based largely on the extrapolation of a limited set of physicochemical properties and in vitro experimental data, such as the clearance and transport of a drug by one or more metabolizing enzymes and transporters. 1, 2
