Other systemic treatment options include immunosuppressants such as corticosteroids, cyclosporin or dapsone. In addition, topical treatment with potent corticosteroids may be beneficial. Given the possibility of permanent disfigurement and its resultant psychological consequences, early and sufficient treatment of LEP is desirable.
