We prove sharp exponential bounds on resonance states for the shape (α-decay) and Stark resonances. We use these bounds to estimate the width of these resonances. The bound on width of Stark resonances gives a partial generalization of the classical Oppenheimer formula derived originally for the hydrogen atom.
