Drawing a dud cheque is a crime in Turkish law. If the aggrieved party does not file a complaint against the drawer, criminal case cannot be started. This study is focused on the right to complain and within this context the notion of the right to complain, the legal nature of the right, people who have the right to complain, time limit to file a complaint, waiver and legal results of the right are investigated
