In this paper we prove that two complete intersectionsandare homeomorphic if and only if they have the same total degree, Pontrjagin classes and Euler characteristics, providedn= 5, 6, 7. This extends earlier result of Fang and Klaus (Manuscr Math 90:139–147, 1996).
