Arrangement and statistics of topics of the 95 thesises are made by 1999-2004 graduated students of urban planning of Xi'An university of architecture and technology. The author analyze some prevailing topics and point out the potential regulations and tendencies about the topics selection. In the light of the problems appeared, the author put forward suggestions for the purpose to improve the educational quality of graduated students
