Dear, Editor, 24 Vasa previa is a condition in which umbilical vessels without Warton jelly 25 run through the fetal membrane across the internal os and may by life-26 threatening to a fetus [1]. Therefore, transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound 27 is used to screen for vasa previa. An atypical type of vasa previa was 28 recently reported [2, 3]. Due to the features of transvaginal ultrasound 29 imaging, difficulties are sometimes associated with the three-dimensional 30 (3D) imaging of vessels traversing vasa previa in utero. Therefore, 31 postnatal feedback of fetal appendages is important, and a recent study 32 suggested the running of the vessels of vasa previa postnatally by 3D 33 imaging [4]. We herein present a new easy method using a rubber balloon 34 for the 3D visualization of postpartum fetal appendages to confirm vessels 35 traversing vasa previa. 36
