The durations, peak velocities and magnitudes of eye movements [human] consisting of saccadic and vergence components were measured. While duration and direction of the combined eye movements were the same for both eyes, there were reliable differences between the magnitudes and peak velocities of the two which were too large to be understood by an additivity hypothesis.
