8. We conclude that group Ia connectivity and mean single-fiber EPSP amplitude differ among motor-unit types, presumably reflecting a motor-unit-specific organization of the group Ia input. However, the withincell variability in EPSP amplitude suggests that other factors, as yet unidentified, may also play a role in determining the efficacy of group Ia input.
