A study of the form of the menisci in 433 joints was made by means of a drawing camera. The posterior cornu of the medial meniscus was wider than the anterior in practically all cases. In general the medial meniscus was "C-shaped" or semicircular in form. The ant. and post. cornua of the lateral meniscus were of the same relative breadth in the majority of cases. 9 discoidal lateral menisci are reported, all in [female][female]. 2 cases of complete circle or ring formation of menisci, one a medial meniscus, the other a lateral, are reported for the first time; both occurred in white [male][male].
