The article focuses on a study conducted to assess the migratory pathway of embryonic and mesenchymal stem cells to degenerated spiral ganglion neurons in cochlea. Topics discussed include the use of high-resolution microscopic-endoscope to assess the movement of transplanted stem cells, four Mongolian gerbils was used for surgical procedure and measurement of cell velocity. It founds the green fluorescent protein into modiolus of Mongolian gerbil's cochlea during immunohistochemical analysis.
