We state, discuss and provide evidence for a conjecture related to the finite XYZ spin chain with periodic boundary condition and a special values of activities. The trigonometric version (XXZ spin chain for a special value of the asymmetry parameter t;.=-1/2) is discussed in details in paper [1)(and references therein). What puts the conjecture in a class by itself is that it is not applicable to the case of an even number of sites which is usually considered.
