Biometrics is automatic methods for identifying a person on the basis of some biological or behavioral characteristic of the person. Many biological characteristics,such as fingerprints, and behavioral characteristics, such as voice patterns, are distinctive to each person. The purpose of this report is to introduce the revolutionary information system application of biometrics. After collecting and analyzing enough sources, this report makes the description of the technology, identify the business which used biometrics, and then discovered how the biometrics change the business model and the reasons why businesses should adopt biometrics, at last make the prediction of biometrics development.
