METHOD1. Transfer the prepared bacteriophage suspension to a section of dialysis tubing sealed at one end with a knot or a plastic closure. Close the other end of the dialysis tube. Place the sealed tube in a flask containing a 1000-fold volume excess of dialysis buffer and a magnetic stir bar. Dialyze the bacteriophage suspension for 1 hour at room temperature with slow stirring.
