A survey of results on regular and nonregular surfaces in a three-dimensional pseudo-Euclidean space. The method of approximating a convex surface by polyhedra and the intrinsic construction of polyhedra of negative curvature are considered in detail. A theorem on the existence in a pseudo-Euclidean space of a convex polyhedron with given polyhedral metric of negative curvature with a finite number of vertices is proved.
