The Langkawi National Observatory (LNO) started solar observations photographically since 2008 and became consistent starting from 2012. In this study, LNO sunspot observation data from year 2013 to 2015 are analyzed to see the observation statistics and relative sunspot number pattern for the past 3 years. A total of 592 days of observation makes for 55.3% out of the 3 years. The pattern correlates with the seasonal climate experienced here when the sky is most favorable for observations during the first quarter of each year. We then compare the daily sunspot number produced by LNO, R LNO as compared to the international sunspot number, R ISN. Errors fluctuate due to observations and analysis is carried out between 3 personnel that conduct the observations. Other contributing factor to these errors includes seeing condition and image quality. We find that LNO k-coefficient (lease-square regression, R 2 is 0.8045. Due to LNO’s solar observation consistency, it has recently been accepted as one of SIDC observing station network in June 2015 and one of two stations that use digital image as the source of the relative sunspot number count reported daily.
