通过野外和实验室观察，研究了新园蛛的生物生态学特性。结果表明，该蜘蛛与幼蛛、亚成蛛和成蛛共同越冬，其分布格局属于聚集性。
Field and laboratory observation was conducted to investigate the bio-ecology characteristics of the spider Neoscona scylla. As expected,the spider overwintered with spiderlings,sub-adults and adults,and their distribution pattern belongs to aggregation.
