This paper concerns the existence of positive radial ground states of the time-independent Schrodinger system {-Δu 1 +λ 1 u 1 =u 1 u 3 1 +βu 2 2 u 1 , in ℝ n , -Δu 2 +λ 2 u 2 =μ 2 u 3 2 +βu 2 1 u 2 , in ℝ n , u 1 (x) → 0, u 2 (x) → 0, as |x| → oo, where n = 1, 2, 3, λ j > 0 and μ j > 0 for j = 1, 2, and β > 0. A result from Sirakov, Comm. Math. Phys. 271 (2007), 199-221, is improved.
