The optimum reaction conditions, sensitivity to the inhibitor and the developmental changes of tyrosiaasein in housefly(Musca domestica), were studied using time-driving dynamic method. The results showed that theoptimum pH of tyrosinase is 7.4, The OD420 values are linear with time from 0 to 2 min. The activity of tyrosinase indifferent developmental stages of Musca domestica follows the order:3rd instar larvae 2nd instar larvae 1st instarlarvae adult pupa. The I50 of phenyl thiourea (PTU) to the activity of tyrosinase is 0.15mmol/L, phenyl thiourea(PTU) is special inhibitor of tyrosinase. The inhibition of parathion, phoxim, methomyl, arprocarb, imidacloprid andavermectins to tyrosinase is not obvious.
