New annelated terheterocycleshave been synthesized and their properties compared with those of the parent systems. The new compounds have mixed structural elements coming from benzo[c]heterocycles, which combine ano‐quinoidal π‐system. The preceding article in this issue, from Lorcy and Cava, describes similar but independent work.
