The article discusses the effect of the concentration of electrolytes to soil permeability. It mentions that maintaining permeability of soil is achieved by using irrigation water with electrolyte concentration above identified critical threshold for various soils. It states that sufficient electrolyte concentration is achieved with the addition of gypsum to irrigation water.
