The metrical data of 29 adult male crania of the Middle to Final Jomon periods from various sites in the Tohoku district were compiled and averaged. The names of the sites, numbers of crania and authors responsible for the measurements are given in Table 1. The locations of the sites are illustrated in Fig. 2.
