In general, arsenic poisoning has been reported as a consequence of using traditional medicine in Thailand (Kullavanich et al., 1987). In the past decades, the Institute of Skin Diseases, Ramathibodi and Siriraj Hospital had treated more than 100 cases of chronic arsenic poisoning from traditional drug ingestion. Very few cases were caused from work-related problems.
