1. Bitragion diameter (width of the base of the skull)–measured by a spreading caliper between the tragions (Fig. 1). 2. Bizygion diameter (width of the face)–measured by a spreading caliper at the widest part of the face, in the zygomatic region (Fig. 1). 3. Bitragion-subnasale arc (distance between the base of the columella and the tragion)–measured by a tape on both sides (Fig. 2). 4. Bitragion-menton arc (distance between the tragion and the menton-gnathion)–meas-ured on both sides by a tape (Fig. 2). 5. The length of the profile of the face–measured with a sliding caliper between the nasion and the menton (Fig. 2). 6. The length of the lower profile of the face-measured by a sliding caliper between the base of the columella (subnasale) and the menton (gnathion)(Fig. 2). 7. The length of the upper profile of the face—measured by a sliding caliper between the nasion and the stomion (the point at which the midline of the face meets the plane of the closed lips)(Fig. 2).8. The length of the lower third of the facial profile–measured by a sliding caliper between the stomion and the menton (gnathion)(Fig. 2). 9. The length of the nose–measured by a sliding caliper between the nasion and the base of the columella (subalare)(Fig. 2). 10. The width of the nose–the diameter in the widest part of the nose measured by a sliding caliper (Fig. 3).
