In Galicki and Poon [J. Math. Phys. 32, 1263 (1991)], certain self‐dual connections are defined on quaternionic Kahler manifolds. In this paper, it is proved that there is essentially only one c1‐self‐dual connection over any simply connected quaternionic Kahler manifold with nonzero scalar curvature.
