The somatotopic organization of the trigeminal ganglion was investigated in felines using the horseradish peroxidase (HRP) tracer method. Results were as follows. The cell bodies which send axons to the ophthalmic, maxillary and mandibular nerves were located in the anteromedial, middle and posterolateral portions of the ipsilateral trigeminal ganglion, respectively. Overlap was found, especially in the maxillary and mandibular areas.
