Radio-synthesis and mass spectrometry analysis of 68Ga-DKFZ-PSMA-617 for non-invasive prostate cancer PET imaging

Ga-68-DKFZ-PSMA-617 was synthesized in high radiochemical yield and specific activity (77 GBq/mu mol) under optimized conditions. The corresponding decay tracer was firstly characterized by MADLI-TOF. Pre-clinical PET imaging studies were performed using normal nude mice after intravenous injection of 18.5 MBq of Ga-68-DKFZ-PSMA-617 which showed the typical enterohepatic metabolism. All these results warrant the further clinical application of Ga-68- DKFZ-PSMA-617.
