The nucleation of supercooled water under electric field on aluminum surface with different nanostructures was investigated by using the molecular dynamics simulation method.Polycrystalline structures were observed in all systems.The nucleation process contains not only the growth of six-ring structures but also the coalescence of ice-like water molecules.In addition,the nucleation process starts dominantly from the sub-surface.Crystal nuclei near the smooth surface grow faster than those near the structured surfaces.
