Aircraft type and user demand have dictated the pace of change in pushback and tow tractor technology. This article discusses the steps that have taken place in the development of the most advanced version in which safety, ergonomic layout of controls, in-cab comfort, improved seating, lower noise levels and improving exhaust emissions have been integral part of the program.
