A method of management has been developed by which an intact dentition can be maintained during treatment of a central giant cell reparative granuloma of the jawbone. The lesion is surgically treated and endodontic therapy is administered to all involved teeth. Although it is frequently advised that the teeth adjacent to the pathologic condition be extracted, this case illustrates that there can be successful management of the condition without loss of permanent dentition.
