2014年在梵净山国家级自然保护区翼手目调查中捕获3只管鼻蝠（1雄2雌）。通过形态学和分子系统学分析，鉴定为一新种。该新种在形态上与白腹管鼻蝠和双色管鼻蝠有较高的相似性，但在头骨形态和系统进化上有明显差异。
Three tube-nosed bats (one male and two female) were captured during Chiroptera investigation at the Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve in 2014. It was identified as a new species through the morphological and molecular phylogenetic analysis. The new species has a higher similarity with Murina leucogaster and Murina bicolora in morphology, however, which has an obvious difference in skull morphlogy and phylogenetic evolution.
