目的
目的报道准分子激光屈光性角膜切削术(PRK)后新的角膜铁沉积。
方法
2例有症状的持续性陡峭中央岛患者在术后6个月至1年出现角膜铁环。这不同于大多数患者在1岁时发现的中央铁斑点。
结果
1例患者反复PRK，症状改善，铁环消失。
结论
准分子激光屈光性角膜切削术后可见角膜铁环，提示存在持续性陡峭的间质起源的中央岛。由于角膜铁沉积意味着慢性化，有症状的患者应重新治疗，因为陡峭的中央岛不太可能消失。
PURPOSE
To report a new corneal iron deposit after excimer laser photorefractive keratectomy (PRK).
METHODS
Two patients with symptomatic persistent steep central islands were noted to have a corneal iron ring at 6 months to 1 year after surgery. This is different from the central iron spot noted in most patients at 1 year.
RESULTS
One patient had repeated PRK with improvement of his symptoms and resolution of the iron ring.
CONCLUSIONS
A corneal iron ring after excimer laser PRK suggests the presence of a persistent steep central island of stromal origin. Since corneal iron deposition signifies chronicity, symptomatic patients should be retreated as resolution of the steep central island is not likely to occur.
