The aim of this paper is to make clear the history of acceptance of the Christian vocabulary in the northwestern area of the Kyushu district of Japan. Two interesting conclusions have been reached. 1) Christian vocabulary does not spread slowly to other communities of the area, but rather like flying sparks to communities of the same religion. 2) People's perception of Christianity has an influence on the acceptance and diffusion of Christian vocabulary.
