A method of correcting the outflow facility values for age and sex in the clinically normal eye was developed using a randomly selected sample. Two samples of first degree relatives were studied for the correlation between first degree relatives with respect to applanation pressure level and aqueous outflow facility. One included individuals free from family history of glaucoma and the other was limited to first degree relatives of patients with open-angle glaucoma. Applanation pressure and aqueous outflow facility were also studied in the three genotypes for P L ,P H .
