In this paper, a new model of semilattice decomposition of semigroups, namely, a regular semilattice of semigroups, is introduced. It is a generalization of a strong semilattice of semigroups. As an application, it is proved that a semigroupSis a regular cryptogroup if and only ifSis a regular semilattice of some completely simple semigroups. On the basis of this description, structures of some special kinds of regular cryptogroups are discussed, and also homomorphisms between regular cryptogroups are investigated.
