Isolation and Anti-phytopathogenic Activity of Secondary Metabolites from Alternaria sp FL25, an Endophytic Fungus in Ficus carica

Four compounds were firstly isolated from the culture of Aliernaria sp. FL25, an endophytic fungus from Ficus carica. On the basis of spectroscopic data (MS, H-1-NMR, C-13-NMR), the four compounds were identified as fumitremorgin B (1), fumitremorgin C (2), helvolic acid (3) and cyclo-(Phe-Ser) (4). These compounds exhibited significantly inhibitory activities on the growth of the tested phytopathogenic fungi. Fig 1, Tab 1, Ref 10
